Overview of Team/ Function:
The SRC Partners unit in the Supervision, Regulation and Credit Department of the FRBB has an opening for a Business Analyst to support records management, travel, and conferences. The SRC Partners unit is responsible for supporting the department's budget and finance processes, learning and development, quality management, time tracking, records management, conflicts of interest, and administrative support.
The Business Analyst will support multiple teams in SRC Partners by supporting the department's records management program, travel reimbursement process for department stakeholders, and assisting with conference planning. Specifically, this role will be responsible for document loading, helping to manage the physical records inventory, and supporting quality control. This position will also support our travel team by making travel arrangements, enter reimbursement requests, and approving requests as needed. This role will support conference planning and ensure conferences run smoothly. You will work with stakeholders at all levels in the department and with peers across the Bank and the Federal Reserve System.
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure records are handled in compliance with Board of Governors and Bank policies. Manage the department's physical records inventory including coordinating with department stakeholders and the Bank's records management function for destruction where appropriate. Perform quality control reviews on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze business problems, identify underlying issues and problems with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with business policies and regulations, support management decision making by providing recommendations with senior level guidance.
  • With some oversight, present both orally and in written form on non-complex business matters to internal stakeholders, System colleagues, and the Board of Governors.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business or a related discipline or equivalent.
  • 2 years of job-related work experience
  • Solid written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate information to audiences at multiple levels
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to gather, analyze, synthesize, and communicate information
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

For this job, any offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a two-phase security screening. The first phase consists of the satisfactory completion of a physical examination (including a drug screening), reference checks, and a security investigation consisting of credit and criminal history checks.
The second phase, which might not be complete until after you begin working at the Reserve Bank, is an additional risk-based security screening determined by the risk rating of the position. Depending upon the sensitivity of the position, this phase may include, and is not limited to, work and residency eligibility verification, and personal interviews with the candidate, references, and prior employers.
All applicants must have been a US Citizen or a permanent resident who also resided in the United States for at least three (3) years.
All employees assigned to this position will be subject to FBI fingerprint/ criminal background and Patriot Act/ Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) watch list checks at least once every five years. All candidates must undergo an enhanced background check and comply with all applicable information handling rules.
