Wyebot gained $8M. Wyebot uses AI-backed technology for WiFi automation. The Marlborough-based company raised a Series A funding round led by Stage 1 Ventures. Publicis Groupe acquired Profitero. A French global communications and marketing platform, Publicis Groupe, acquired the e-commerce software company Profitero. According to the Wall Street Journal, the acquisition is said to be valued at $200 million. Profitero will continue to operate as an independent company within the Publicis Groupe network. The company saw 35 percent growth in Q1 and expects to keep growing. Ektrope plans to grow by 30 percent throughout the year and is going through a hiring spree to fulfill that mission. InterSystems will double its HQ size. InterSystems Corp. is a Cambridge-based company providing data solutions for organizations across healthcare, business and government. The company confirmed it will be leasing a 420,000-square-foot, 43-story tower that is under construction. The new headquarters will allow the company to double its employee headcount in the area.
