Cynet opened a Boston HQWorking to provide small companies with protection against cyber threats, the Israeli security company is planning significant growth in Boston. With 40 employees already based in the city, Cynet is looking to double the size of its Boston team by the end of next year. Available positions will span the company’s sales, marketing, business development, customer success and customer support teams. [Built In Boston]

OpenCity secured $6.8MWith its tech that provides restaurants with an AI-powered voice assistant for drive-thru orders, OpenCity wants to deploy its speech-to-text software solution Tori to more fast-food businesses. The funding from its latest equity round will be used for this as well as growing the company’s team by 12 across engineering, support and sales. [Boston Business Journal]

Stage 2 Capital launches $80M fundThe firm aims to teach startups on the right time to scale their business. Its portfolio consists of companies like Sendoso, Ocrolus, Gosite and Reibus.
