Payments Enablement Company Flywire Appoints Chief Payments Officer

Mohit Kansal will work to align Flywire’s payments strategy and technology in his new role.

Flywire, a company specializing in payments enablement technology, recently announced the appointment of Mohit Kansal as its new chief payments officer. The move furthers with the company’s focus on payment innovation and expanding the coverage of its global payments network.

Kansal’s promotion follows a nine-year tenure at Flywire. In his expanded role, Kansal will oversee payment-related product management organizations such as the company’s payment gateway, API, platform and payment experience teams. He will be responsible for furthering Flywire’s payment strategy and driving its alignment with the company’s technical growth.  

The company’s latest leadership appointment coincides with the launch of several initiatives geared toward building new acceptance rails, increasing localization efforts and growing its domestic payments capabilities. As chief payments officer, Kansal will help Flywire better define its payments roadmap, streamline payment processing, consolidate payment assets and enhance its payment experiences.
