The Crown Is Yours
As an Analyst I, Risk Analytics, you will heavily support fraud operations management through the use of data and analytics in order to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of our agents. Risk Analytics works to prevent account takeovers, identify stolen credit cards used on the DraftKings platform, to identify and prevent check kiting, and more. You will lean in on supporting fraud incident responses by assessing data and finding signals to better detect new threats. Through cross-functional collaboration and analytical problem solving, you will enable teams across our organization to make smarter, better, and faster decisions.
What you'll do as an Analyst I, Risk Analytics
- Analyze data to support data-driven decision-making. For example: optimize risk thresholds, evaluate alert performance, and interpret trends while collaborating with team members and senior leadership to ensure effective risk management.
- Build and maintain a reporting suite to support critical initiatives and inform stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineering to stitch various disparate data sources together, enhancing insights across the entire risk department.
- Dive into databases, CRMs, and bespoke internal tooling to understand and explain how DraftKings systems holistically interact.
- Drive process improvements through data powered recommendations.
- React real-time to various threats to the business by evaluating alerts, assessing capacity and priorities, and delivering recommendations to drive value.
- Create high-quality communications to align key stakeholders across the business.
- Work cross-functionally to analyze and highlight important customer behaviors.
What you'll bring
- At least 1 year of professional analytics experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- An analytical mindset and experience with analyzing and interpreting large data sets.
- Experience in data manipulation required, such as SQL, python, R, etc.
- Experience in data visualization (Tableau) required.
- Experience building simple frameworks and finding solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver compelling, data driven presentations.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 62,400.00 USD - 78,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
