Primary Purpose:
The Workforce Analytics, Insights & Planning Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and general HR KPIs. This position plays a vital role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting HR processes and data for the Ahold Delhaize USA support organization.
Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to HR leadership in ways that clearly tell the story.
  • Acquires and compiles structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality, accuracy, and feasibility.
  • Defines and develops tracked KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Performs analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
  • Creates and manages predictive models (e.g. job movement, retirements, talent pools, policy decisions) and integrates workforce model output into production reporting and developing metrics to assess their effectiveness
  • Prepares and delivers visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement.
  • Compiles complex data reports and summaries for HR leadership team.
  • Develops, owns, and manages recurring analytic or reporting processes.
  • Proactively expands knowledge of business and analytics and shares with team members.
  • Shares and documents best practices.
  • Utilizes Excel and Power BI tools to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports for HR metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our values.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably working with confidential HR data
  • Strong analytic aptitude, ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies and tactics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, modelling)
  • Project management and process improvement experience
  • Ability to leverage various tools to tell a compelling story at all organizational levels
  • Data-driven decision making on how skills can support specific business strategies
  • Proactively anticipating talent investments with strategies to drive enterprise and functional capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and system design.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualfications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably working with HR data
  • Experience working with HR systems - SuccessFactors, Kronos, etc.
  • Experience utilizing SQL and Tableau
