Associate Account Executive, AWS Partner

  • You will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by building relationships with prospective customers and AWS stakeholders.

About the role 
As an Associate Account Executive, AWS Partner you willcollaborate with sales, marketing, and AWS partnership contacts to identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and contribute to our revenue growth. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional looking to excel in enterprise software sales and gain experience working closely with Aws - with the leading cloud service provider globally 

As am Associate Account Executive you will: 

  • Partner with the SmartBear and AWS sales teams to build go-to-market strategies and drive pipeline growth
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at AWS.
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and master the partnership processes including the use of the systems – Salesforce (SFDC), Amazon Web Services (AWS) ACE, Outlook, Zoominfo, Linkedin, Outreach.
  • Work with Sales to ensure all appropriate opportunities are referred to AWS ACE and rep calls are scheduled with proper AWS contacts, ensuring documentation of all additional AWS contacts.
  • Provide summaries of key reporting metrics to sales leadership weekly on outstanding tasks and number of opportunities by team and product.   
  • Understand the inventory of available collateral supporting the partnership, ensuring sales are equipped as needed.  

We are looking for you if you have:

  • 1+ years in a customer facing role, 6+ months in a business/sales development position preferred
  • Experience working with channel partners or in a partner-driven sales environment highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, curious, and eager make an impact on company growth
