We are currently looking for an Associate, Product Line Manager for Footwear as our business expands into new markets. This role is responsible for all up-front market research and go-to-market strategy for footwear while collaborating with Design, Development, Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, and Brand Creative teams. This highly collaborative role is a perfect fit for someone who is passionate about performance products and the industry while being business savvy and a strong team player. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator and eager to roll up their sleeves to play a critical role on the business side of product creation in a rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Help gather market research and provide recommendations for new product categories and product assortments
- Communicate regularly and effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership to receive input and report progress
- Partner with Design, Development, Finance, Marketing, and Distribution team members from ideation through go-to-market strategy
- Assist Design and Operations team members to drive towards targeted product launch dates
- Own and manage samples, product showroom and competitive sample room
- Analyze historical product data and sales information to help with upcoming product launches
- Collect research, historical data, and finances to make recommendations for product line plans
- Seek out and identify new growth opportunities to expand product categories by benchmarking competition, identifying suitable trends, and finding best practices in the industry
- Manage PLM system responsibilities, range plan updating and visual line plan assortments
- Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement with a solution minded approach
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree
- 0-3 years of professional experience (Footwear experience a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must (PLM System and Miro a plus)
- Market research experience is a plus
- Knowledge of the brand and the sports/performance industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Training, Running, Golf, Tennis, Cycling and/or Triathlons and Sport is a plus
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Self-starter with great attention to detail
- Willingness to get your hands dirty
- Committed cross-functional partner and team player
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving hyper-growth environment with evolving processes
- Entrepreneurial spirit and passion
- Must be available to travel to NOBULL sponsored events and work in Boston, MA
