Agilent, is seeking a results-driven Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of our high-throughput capillary electrophoresis (CE) instruments and consumables. This role is instrumental in expanding our presence in the Molecular and Biological Research (MBR) market, encouraging key customer relationships, and crafting future innovations through market insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive CE instrument sales across the Eastern US, collaborating with Account Managers to identify and close opportunities.

  • Lead product demonstrations and presentations to showcase Agilent’s CE solutions.

  • Provide customer insights and market intelligence to guide product development.

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow market share.

  • Establish relationships with key opinion leaders and participate in industry conferences.

  • Stay current on CE applications in NGS QC, IVT RNA analysis, protein quantification, and nucleic acid analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (MS/Ph.D. preferred).

  • 4+ years of capital equipment sales experience in Biotech, Pharma, Academia, or Government sectors.

  • Excellent technical communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-selling environment.

  • Hands-on experience with capillary electrophoresis systems and applications is helpful.

  • Solid understanding of CE applications, including NGS QC, IVT analysis, Plasmid analysis, Protein analysis, and Oligo analysis.

  • Willingness to travel up to 35%.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least April 2, 2025 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $147,675.00 - $263,354.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
