As our Client Finance Analyst, you will…

Assist with financial and operational coordination across MERGE. You will have key financial and accounting responsibilities for assigned client(s) and will be the primary point of contact for all financial issues with the Client Team. These responsibilities are focused upon but are not limited to reporting, billing, job opening, project pricing and monitoring, revenue accounting, and other internal agency processes. You will work cross-functionally with the Client Service, Finance, and project teams to ensure comprehension of the agency process concerning client requirements and overall agency guidelines.

Be Accountable and Responsible

  • Maintain timely accurate client billing, including supporting documentation.
  • Explain and translate financial reports to internal teams
  • Prepare client profitability reports
  • Coordinate contract renewals and new agreements.
  • Maintain information related to annual client contractual obligations.
  • Ensure financial integrity of internal reporting and procedures.
  • Manage certain management reports, including Missing Time, Utilization, and (Over)/Under Service.
  • Identify and communicate areas of concern.
  • Suggest process improvements.
  • Explain and translate financial reports to client teams.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 

These are the qualifications we’re looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, including familiarity with the digital environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel & Google Workspace
  • Familiarity using financial reporting systems.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition, reserves/ absorptions).
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
