Quanterix is a company that is digitizing biomarker analysis with the goal of advancing the science of precision health. The company’s ultra-sensitive detection solution, Simoa, has the potential to change the way in which healthcare is provided today by giving researchers the ability to closely examine the role of biomarkers in the continuum of health to disease. Quanterix’ technology is designed to enable much earlier disease detection, better prognosis, and precise treatment methods to improve the quality of life and longevity of the population for generations to come. The technology is currently being used for research applications in several therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, cardiology, inflammation, and infectious disease. 

We are looking for a motivated Director of KOL Development to manage and drive our KOL strategy. This person will play a critical role in building and maintaining the overall strategy and engagement plan with both leading and emerging key opinion leaders (KOLs) for our current and future products. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Identify and develop critical senior KOL relationships across the Quanterix disease areas, with a specific focus on neurology
  • Manage our existing KOL relationships through regular, direct follow up and connection
  • Be on the forefront of up-and-coming KOLs in the industry
  • Work closely with our Chief Collaborations Officer and on high-level KOL engagement strategy
  • Develop strategic, contractual relationships with KOLs (marketing, speaking, publishing collabs, beta product access, etc)
  • Serve as the conduit between customers, KOLs, and internal cross-functional departments
  • Identify and recommend new products and approaches based on market knowledge. Identify trends in up-and-coming applications and approaches. Serve as the “Voice of the Customer” to internal product teams.
  • Attend key industry conferences and Simoa success seminars to continue to build and expand our KOL network

What We’ll Expect From You: 

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10- 15 years of experience across commercial and scientific functions in the life sciences industry

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • PhD in life sciences
  • Lives in Massachusetts 

 Skills and Abilities:    

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship building skills both internal and external
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data-driven insights to shape strategic decisions
  • Proficient in building and maintaining relationships at executive levels
  • Independent, self-driven approach with a commercial mindset
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with KOLs and attend industry events

Salary range $192,000 - $248,600
