The Opportunity
We are seeking versatile candidates with an analytical mindset to join MassMutual's Financial Planning & Analysis team in our Rotational Development Program. Over two years of rotations, our program is designed to provide analysts with the experience, exposure and development curriculum to diversify their skillset and grow into financial professionals.
The Team
Financial Planning & Analysis serves as a strategic advisory function providing real-time actionable information that drives optimization of MassMutual's financial performance. We are the financial model builders, insightful storytellers and everything in between, offering analysts unique exposure to the multidisciplinary functions and cultures that deliver the critical analysis needed to inform major decisions by business leaders. Our team is technically skilled, collaborative, and intellectually curious. We invest in team members' professional development through exposure to a variety of industries, while supplementing on-the-job experience with educational opportunities.
The Impact
While every rotation will be different by design, each will provide an opportunity to develop technical skills, business acumen, leadership skills and a deep understanding of MassMutual as a company. As a fully embedded team member for the duration of your assignment, you will take on critical business responsibilities while driving continuous process improvements, with a strong mentorship structure in place to guide you through any new subject matter and provide regular feedback.
Rotations are available across our core functions: Strategic Planning & Forecasting, Treasury, Financial Visualization & Model Development, and Expense Management & Efficiency Initiatives. From building quantitative models and customer-focused digital reporting to driving business partnerships and executive presentations, the Rotational Program offers the unique combination of exposure to diverse financial skillsets all while staying within the FP&A family - so that every experience and relationship gained can be leveraged in future rotations.
The work you do will consider your personal development plan, allowing increasing responsibility while taking the risks necessary to try and learn new things. Upon successfully completing your rotations, the culmination of these development opportunities will be the foundation for your success in future potential roles in Finance, and the robust network you've built will serve as a continuous support structure throughout your career.
