The RoleThe Industry Analyst Relations Manager is responsible for executing a comprehensive industry analyst program at AspenTech. This role requires managing complex paid and earned relationships with leading analyst firms around the world, while serving as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders across the organization, including the executive suite, sales, marketing, product management and other groups. The individual will establish and execute strategies to strengthen AspenTech’s relationships with analysts, secure inclusion in influential market reports, and leverage analyst insights to drive competitive positioning and customer engagement.

Your Impact

  • Devise plans designed to help AspenTech establish value-add, strategic engagements with prioritized members of the industry analyst community.
  • Facilitate all analyst engagements including inquiry calls, vendor briefings, advisory sessions, and speaking engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to craft compelling briefing materials, align messaging, and execute engagement plans tailored to specific product lines and business goals.
  • Develop and monitor analyst firm research calendars and ensure AspenTech coverage in priority reports, such as Gartner Magic Quadrants.
  • Prepare and host analyst-specific events as appropriate.
  • Maintain and enhance the internal Analyst Relations portal, ensuring it serves as a central resource for collaboration, planning and reporting.
  • Track program KPIs, analyze progress, and present strategic updates and recommendations to leadership

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/related technical field or in product marketing/related communications or business field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in industry analyst relations, product management/marketing or communications/consulting in B2B technology.
  • Direct experience planning and executing analyst relations programs.
  • Experience working with process intensive customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience operating in a technological environment with organizational complexity.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align analyst relations initiatives with overarching business goals.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills including attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation skills including strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels, including senior executives, within AspenTech and the analyst community.
  • Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others.
  • Must exhibit professional maturity, good judgment, and leadership skills.
