We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Channel Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This individual will drive engagement and enablement with our global strategic channel partners, helping them succeed in delivering our solutions to their customers. They will collaborate with internal teams and partners to provide technical guidance, product recommendations, and ensure successful solution deployment.

What You'll Do: 

  • Partner Engagement & Collaboration: Collaborate with channel partners and sales teams to understand client needs, recommend technical solutions, and drive sales growth. Act as a technical resource to address partner inquiries and challenges. 

  • Technical Enablement & Support: Deliver partner technical enablement programs, including training, demonstrations, and webinars, to equip partners with the tools and knowledge for success. Maintain expertise in Mimecast’s portfolio and stay informed on industry trends. Assist partners in designing and implementing solutions with support from senior team members. 

  • Solution Support: Assist in identifying, designing, and delivering technical solutions that align with client requirements, focusing on clear solution positioning and differentiation. 

  • Customer Engagement: Provide pre-sales technical consultation, including configuration assistance, answering technical inquiries, and delivering proof-of-concept demonstrations. 

  • Training & Development: Actively participate in on-the-job training, formal technical training, and internal enablement initiatives to build skills necessary for supporting engagements current and future. Stay up-to date with industry trends and best practices.

  • Event Coordination: Support partner and customer events, including webinars, workshops, and in-person sessions, to drive engagement and technical alignment. 

  • Onboarding Support: Facilitate onboarding for new partners in targeted segments, helping them integrate and effectively represent Mimecast’s solutions. 

  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, sales engineering, customer success, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of sales and channel strategies. Provide feedback from partners and analytics from events to improve products and processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business) or equivalent work experience. 

  • A strong interest in technology, sales, and customer success. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor technical presentations to non-technical audiences. 

  • Foundational knowledge of IT solutions, including networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. 

  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical and sales capabilities. 

  • Experience in customer service, technical support, or a related sales environments; internships and co-op experience are a plus.

  • Familiarity with channel sales and technical enablement.
