RESPONSIBILITIES

The Credit Investor Relations team is seeking a full-time Analyst with the primary responsibility of working with global Investor Relations professionals covering Bain Capital Credit’s liquid, structured, and private credit strategies.

The main objectives of the Credit Investor Relations team are:

Relationship Management: Ensuring our existing clients are well serviced, responding to client requests in a timely manner, and coordinating regular review meetings with the Portfolio Management teams

Fundraising: Sourcing new Limited Partners (LPs), business development initiatives, and other partnership opportunities for our credit strategies

Investor Strategy and Business Processes: Collaborating with firm leadership and broader Bain Capital IR teams to improve standard processes (reporting, campaign tracking, road shows, etc.)

The Analyst will work alongside Credit IR Coverage Officers and Associates and is tasked with coordinating schedules for road shows, organizing trackers for various IR meetings, maintaining investor lists, handling entry of prospect and client data into Bain Capital’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce.com), assisting in the creation of materials for prospect and client meetings (both in-person and virtual), and other ad-hoc projects.

A successful Analyst is a results-oriented individual who is able to work independently on multiple projects, under time constraints, and consistently produce accurate and timely deliverables. The individual should have a solid understanding and curiosity of investment products.

This position will involve key tasks such as:

  • Coordinate and track travel/road show availability of senior firm leaders and IR team members
  • Handle various scheduling and booking tasks for conferences and Bain Capital sponsored fundraising events
  • Prepare materials for investor meetings including briefing memos, prep notes, and investor agendas
  • Build and maintain investor contact lists for fund launches, webinar and annual meeting invitations, strategy campaigns, and road shows
  • Oversee broad data management and input tasks in Salesforce.com to support business development and investor related activities on behalf of the Credit IR team
  • Assist IR team members with ad hoc reporting utilizing Salesforce.com client data

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong academic credentials (BS/BA from highly-regarded institution)
  • 0-1 years of experience in asset management, consulting or financial services’ related marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior personnel across the firm
  • Strong analytical skills; comfort organizing and interpreting large amounts of data
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience manipulating large data sets with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious, and energetic self-starter with ability to think creatively
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM is a plus
  • Series 7 and 63; if not currently licensed, successful hire must complete tests in the first 90 days of employment
