Role Overview
As a Learning Graphic Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with our Learning Experience team including instructional designers, Sr.Project Manager, and the Learning Design Manager to produce high-quality visual assets that support digital learning. This role is fully remote and ideal for a designer with a strong eye for clarity, consistency, and user-friendly layouts.
The immediate focus will be on designing visual assets that support 1:1 virtual training sessions, such as slide decks (PowerPoint), infographics, and downloadable resources. Over time, there may be opportunities to contribute to additional synchronous and asynchronous learning products as our curriculum evolves.
What You’ll Do
- Design high-quality visual assets to support our people-skills training, including slide decks, infographics, worksheets, guides, and branded templates.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and project managers to understand learning goals, design needs, and timelines.
- Apply and maintain brand guidelines across all assets to ensure consistency and professionalism.
- Translate learning content into visuals that enhance engagement and understanding.
- Incorporate feedback from team members and iterate on designs efficiently.
- Manage your time effectively across multiple projects with a short turnaround.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design or content design for digital learning or professional development environments.
- Proficiency in Canva, PowerPoint, and additional tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio showcasing clean, accessible digital designs for professional or educational audiences.
- Experience designing for virtual environments (synchronous and asynchronous learning).
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating remotely.
Bonus
- Experience working on learning-focused teams or with instructional content.
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines for learning visuals.
Contract Details
- Hours: ~10–15 hours/week depending on project load
- Duration: 3–6 months with potential for extension
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
- Start Date: ASAP
- Tools & Setup:You’ll use your own computer, internet connection, and design software. As a remote contractor, you will maintain the tools and workspace needed to complete your project work effectively.
