Position Summary

Supporting Diversified Commercial Solutions’ (DCS), Dental, Vision, Voluntary and Student Health primarily responsible for financial analysis of the Dental business as it relates to DLR (Dental Loss Ratio) compliance reporting, including:

  • Partner and collaborate across the organization to understand the financial impact of compliance requirements and ensure proper application to the business.
  • Support regulatory filings with accurate financial analysis.
  • Create and document standard operating procedures and updates as required.
  • Participate on projects as a business unit financial representative in support of the Dental and Vision products as necessary.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Financial Partner to Business
    • Trusted finance partner with accountability for budgets by analyzing results.
    • Monthly reporting packages.
  • Planning & Forecasting
    • Actively engage in the complete financial close by understanding and documenting variances related to membership and financial results.
    • Analyze Key Performance Indicators.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance and/or accounting role working with financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • 5+ years in a role using analytic insights to find and provide solutions

Skill In:

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel functions: vLook up, pivot tables, index matching Start text here

Ability To:

  • Effectively present and communicate results to business leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GL and STAT reporting tools helpful
  • Knowledge of Financial reporting tools (Hyperion/SmartView/S4) helpful
  • Dental, vision, or supplemental health product knowledge


Education

Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $119,340.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
