The IRA Growth Strategy Leader is responsible for driving the expansion of TIAA’s Individual Retirement Account (IRA) offering. This Leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategic growth plans, identifying market opportunities, strengthening client and advisor engagement, and optimizing IRA product positioning. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial services, business development, and retirement planning, with a keen understanding of IRA regulations and investment strategies

This role reports to the Senior Managing Director, Head of Wealth Products and Solutions. The Wealth Product and Solutions team is responsible for strategy, development and management of wealth products and services, which include managed accounts, brokerage solutions, trust services and third-party solutions. Our vision is to offer a diverse set of investment solutions and services to help our clients reach their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Designs and implements business growth strategies to increase IRA adoption, contributions, and asset under management (AUM).

  • Identifies and analyzes market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to position IRA offerings effectively.

  • Develops product differentiation, and marketing strategies to attract new IRA clients and retain existing ones.

  • Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure growth success and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Builds and maintains strategic partnerships with distribution, marketing and digital experience teams to expand IRA business.

  • Develops targeted campaigns to increase IRA enrollments, rollovers and contributions in partnership with marketing teams.

  • Conducts presentations, webinars, and educational initiatives to promote IRA benefits and growth strategies.

  • Collaborates with product development teams to enhance IRA account offerings, including investment options, digital tools, and client services.

  • Enhances IRA client experience through data-driven personalization, proactive outreach, and improved service models.

  • Identifies opportunities for technology integration, and fintech partnerships to enhance IRA digital experience, rollover experience and conversion rates.

Base Pay Range: $200,000/yr. - $240,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
