We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager in our Boston office. This individual will play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and execution of marketing, branding, and press strategies to promote and drive the success of Cabot’s marketing and communications efforts. In addition, this position will serve as a liaison with both external partners as well as internal Cabot associates from various departments. The key responsibilities will cover a broad spectrum of activities from market research and strategy development to implementation and project management. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Cabot's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage external relationships with firms supporting Cabot's marketing and press efforts including lead responsibility for day-to-day management of these consultants.
  • Assist with internal communications across Cabot’s growing network of international regional offices.
  • Responsible for working with internal teams to develop a content creation strategy and managing its execution. Internal teams include Investor Relations, Research, HR, and Compliance as well as leaders from regional offices among others.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, print, and events.
  • Develop, manage, and edit content including thought leadership for the Firm.
  • Prepare reports for management to provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 8 -10 years of proven marketing experience in a senior/manager role
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, analytics platforms, and project management software.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media, and other relevant marketing channels
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Results-orientated and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Detail oriented and organized in all respects.
  • Experience working for real estate is preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing multiple assignments/projects and conflicting priorities with the pressure of short, demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.


Physical/Mental/Visual Demands and Work Environment:

  • The job is conducted in an office work environment, sitting most of the time.
  • Approximately 90% of this position’s duties require use of a computer.
  • Occasional travel to Regional Offices and Industry Conferences, anticipated to be less than 20%.
