SupplyHouse.com, an innovative and industry leading e-commerce company, is looking for a Pricing Intern to work with us virtually this summer! This individual will gain hands-on experience and be exposed to the daily functions of our Pricing Team. 

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. 

This position may require travel to our NY office headquarters up to two times during the program for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired. 

Location: Remote (Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington) 

Length of Program: Monday, June 2nd, through Friday, August 8th 

Internship On-Site Meeting: Wednesday, June 18th (required) 

Finance On-Site Meeting: Wednesday, July 16th, and Thursday, July 17th (optional) 

Hours: Standard business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST. However, there is some flexibility as per our Flex-Time Policy.

Salary: $20.00/hour

What is Pricing?

The Pricing team is responsible for end-to-end pricing from gathering, interpreting, and updating our product costs to setting, analyzing, and monitoring our retail prices. The team strives to optimize revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction. The team also analyzes competition and market trends to better inform pricing strategies.

The Day to Day:

  • Gather, analyze, communicate, and update price and promotion information from our vendors 
  • Investigate pricing discrepancies and communicate with vendors to resolve 
  • Assist in analysis on competition and product price performance 
  • Review prices based on performance and assist with new product pricing 
  • Work with the team to help identify areas of opportunity to grow margin 

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on Math, Business, Economics, or a related field 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Pleasant and personable demeanor 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
