Providing relevant business context for agile software development team(s) and helping product owner team through planning exercises designed to help select development work for time-boxed execution. Facilitating Agile Scrum Framework execution by team by filling a role as a "Servant Leader" for the team. Authoring business requirements for functionality to be delivered as part of the TriZetto product portfolio. Collaborating with other stakeholders to create the high-level designs and the detailed functional design artifacts that will be used to develop TriZetto products and solutions. Serving as a subject matter expert in all areas of the software development life cycle (i.e., software engineering, quality assurance, and technical communications), assists customer support, sales and consulting/implementation services. Minimizing the impact of impediments to successful completion of development work.
Job Title: Product Owner Manager
Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role
Essential Functions:
• Providing vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project through understanding and representing the customer to the team through backlog management, release planning, and elaboration of the product features and requirements.
• Partnering with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog that reflects value and prioritizes work for a software development team while understanding changing requirements on a daily basis.
• Defining, translating and validating required features based on input from market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
• Guiding the development team and organization (BU) on how to use Agile/Scrum best practices and values and enforcing them while maintaining/growing team dynamic.
• Responsible for ensuring quality designs for all features, either by performing feature design, or by coordinating the activities of designers within the scrum team, product family, and/or the product portfolio.
• Assisting development team members on the Agile Framework and coordination of their deliverables.
• Mentoring intermediate and associate level design team members.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration required.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
Certified Product Owner (CSPO or similar).
Required Experience:
• Minimum of five years' experience with professional software product development, with a minimum of two years' experience participating in scrum projects and domain/product experience.
• Direct experience and responsibility for the documentation and ongoing elaboration of software requirements and specifications, including user stories and detailed specifications.
• Experience with multiple full project lifecycles, from concept to delivery.
• Proven experience in managing large and complex software-as-a-service and service-based architecture cloud platform scrum projects.
• Experience with payer or provider or general healthcare technology desired.
Desired Experience:
• Experience in facilitation, negotiation, and influencing preferred.
• Healthcare (Health Plan) industry experience preferred.

• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse, geographically dispersed group including executives, managers and subject matter experts.
• Strong teamwork, relationship building and interpersonal skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of management.
• Excellent organization skills; creativity, objective-oriented focus with the ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
Technical Competencies:
• Proficient with office productivity and project planning tools.
• Strong technical and problem solving aptitude as well as the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• On-demand/SaaS software product development is a strong plus.
• Sound financial skills including the ability to write business cases, determine ROI, NPV and cash-flows.
