ETRM in its capacity as Second Line of Defense (SLOD) is responsible for leadership, oversight, monitoring, and advisement around the technologies, architecture, operational processes, security, and resiliency

Who we are looking for

As a representative of the ETRM group, you will be amid State Street’s multi-year technology transformation journey, regulatory requirements and technology risk assurance programs of various Business Units within State Street. The candidate will closely work with the global ETRM team leads and other cross functional teams such as First Line of Defense (FLoD), Technology divisions (Global Technology Services - GTS, Global Cybersecurity Services - GCS etc.), the broader Enterprise Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Teams, Human Resources, Training and Development and Third Line of Defense (TLoD)

What you will be responsible for

As Communication & Training Lead, Assistant Vice President - ETRM  you will be responsible for providing support on below areas:

Communication

  • Create and maintain communication program in support of ETRM functions

  • Create compelling, professional content for all levels of audience, including board-level, and regulatory

  • Guide/support ETRM SMEs with creation of presentations and communication

  • Develop standard communication/templates for ETRM to execute ETRM functions

  • Develop and maintain a communications calendar to ensure timely and consistent messaging across the organization

  • Develop and support maintenance of Enterprise Technology Risk Management Sharepoint

Training

  • Create and maintain training program in support of ETRM functions, including design and maintenance of training materials in close collaboration with GHR and other ERM departments

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess, identify, and prioritize training needs both within ETRM and risk management training to first lin

  • Organize and schedule training sessions

  • Support onboarding of new hires / maintain new hire manual

Project Management Support

  • As needed support end-to-end planning and tracking execution of deliverables of the ETRM Strategic Plan

  • Support Lessons Learned/Post Mortem activities

  • As needed, perform business

Primary Skills (Must Have)

  • Experience in designing and executing training programs and communication programs preferably in the technology and cyber risk management domains for a geographically diverse audience with due consideration for various cultures and personas

  • Expertise in creating and delivering presentations for senior management audiences including audio/video skills

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills, and proficiency with other Microsoft applications

  • Proven strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Organized, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Helpful Skills

  • SharePoint administration

  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

  • Basic understanding of Risk Management

  • Business analysis (incl. data analysis, root cause analysis, trends, etc.)

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Communications or relevant areas

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in communication/training, some experience with project management, with some exposure working at a financial services firm

  • Familiarity in Technology and Cyber risk management frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL etc is a plus

  • Relevant certifications/experience (e.g., Toastmasters, PMP) are a plus

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
