About demandDrive: demandDrive is an industry-leading integrated sales and marketing agency. We provide B2B clients with a comprehensive suite of solutions, from top-of-funnel marketing to sales execution. While most companies execute sales and marketing functions in isolation, demandDrive combines industry-leading services in both areas, driving greater productivity and increasing our clients' revenue growth.
Position Overview - Quality Assurance Lead: We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to establish and own the quality assurance process for our web design and development projects. You’ll be responsible for designing and documenting a scalable, modern QA methodology that ensures every website and website feature we deliver is functional, accessible, responsive, performant, and pixel-perfect.
As the first dedicated QA hire, you’ll set the standard for future QA team members and bring deep experience with QA automation, usability testing, cross-browser/device testing, and AI-assisted tools. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to integrate quality assurance into every stage of the development lifecycle.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement QA Methodology: Create a scalable, repeatable QA process tailored to web design and development workflows. Document testing protocols, checklists, tools, and best practices.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Lead both manual and automated testing efforts across responsive websites, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, headless CMSs), and custom web applications.
  • Pixel-Perfect Design QA: Validate visual fidelity of Figma designs across screen sizes and browsers.
  • Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Test across a wide range of devices, browsers, and screen resolutions using tools like BrowserStack, LambdaTest, etc.
  • Performance, Accessibility, and SEO QA: Integrate modern quality metrics into testing, including performance (Lighthouse, WebPageTest), accessibility (axe, WAVE), and SEO audits.
  • AI-Driven QA Tools: Research, test, and integrate emerging AI-based QA tools to enhance testing speed, coverage, and bug detection.
  • Bug Tracking & Reporting: Clearly document and prioritize issues using tools like Bugherd or GitHub Issues. Communicate effectively with web engineers, account managers, designers, and stakeholders
  • Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing: Continuously refine QA processes based on feedback and results. Mentor future QA hires and create training materials and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and standups. Coordinate with product, design, and dev teams to catch issues early and often.

Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/QC for web design and development
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS platforms (especially WordPress)
  • Experience with QA automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
  • Proficiency in browser and device testing tools
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), performance audits, and responsive design principles
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Experience setting up QA workflows from scratch
  • Up-to-date with AI tools and modern QA technologies

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Experience in an agency or fast-paced digital environment
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of visual regression testing tools (Percy, Chromatic, Applitools)
  • Experience testing websites built with frameworks like React, Vue, or Next.js
