Job Description

Cognex Corporation is seeking a motivated Intern to join our IT Business Applications team in Natick, Massachusetts. The intern will play a key role in supporting various business requirements and enhancement requests on our business systems platforms of SAP and Salesforce. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assisting with SAP upgrade testing to gain familiarity with SAP processes in Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Finance-to-Manage (FTM) modules. 

  • Supporting Salesforce administrative tasks, including granting system access. 

  • Shadowing OTC/FTM Principal resources to facilitate business testing of all open items in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 

  • Adjusting queues for tickets logged for IT assistance. 

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience with SAP and Salesforce systems, while working closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic environment. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 

  • Basic understanding of SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise systems (preferred but not mandatory). 

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed. 

  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new systems and processes.
