We combine management consultancy with marketing agency expertise, all backed by marketing science, creative problem-solving, and technological know-how. Our integrated approach brings together teams, technology, data, strategies, processes, and plans to fuel sustainable revenue growth and build deeper, more resonant customer relationships. We partner with some of the world’s largest and most ambitious brands, providing innovative solutions that drive commercial agility and long-term success.
Role Overview:
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEM Manager to join our dynamic team, taking on a critical role in managing paid search accounts and driving campaign success for our clients. If you are an analytical, results-driven paid search expert with a passion for optimizing campaigns and paid search spend, this may be the role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
As an SEM Manager, you will be responsible for directly managing and optimizing clients' paid search campaigns across primary platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Bing etc.). You will oversee account performance, budgets, and optimizations, ensuring we meet key KPIs and achieve client objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine marketing, excellent communication skills, and a results-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid search strategies for primarily B2B SaaS clients, ensuring alignment with client goals and business objectives
  • Execute, monitor, and optimize PPC campaigns on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research, including generation of new keywords, analyzing search query reports (SQRs) to add negative keyword
  • Bid and targeting management and optimization
  • Develop and refine ad copy bid and targeting to drive quality leads and maximize ROI

Account Management:

  • Take full ownership of paid search accounts, including campaign set-up, budget allocation, and performance tracking
  • Monitor and report on account performance, making data-driven decisions to adjust strategies, budgets, and ads accordingly
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and insights on campaign progress, performance, and optimization efforts

Optimizations & Reporting:

  • Perform in-depth analyses of campaign performance (e.g., CTR, conversion rates, CPC, ROAS), identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations
  • Design A/B tests for ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies to improve performance.
  • With the support of the Data & Analytics team, create and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards for clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Collaboration & Continuous Learning:

  • Work closely with the account management and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging, landing page optimization, and overall campaign success
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and new features on major paid search platforms
  • Share best practices and contribute to ongoing professional development of the team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience managing Paid Search (PPC/SEM) campaigns, with a proven track record of successful account management and performance optimization
  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads and Bing Ads (certifications in these platforms are a bonus). Experience with other platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, YouTube, or other paid media channels) is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience with paid search strategy, budgeting, keyword research, ad copywriting, A/B testing, and performance optimization
  • Proficient in using Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Ads, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and other reporting tools to analyze and optimize paid search campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience with tracking, attribution, and conversion reporting, as well as the ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, providing clear insights and recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Google Ads Certifications (Search, Display, Video) are highly valued
  • Additional certifications in digital marketing or related fields are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required
