Location

Our Senior Business Development Executive will operate remotely OR be based out of one of our major Canadian office locations - Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON.

The Opportunity

TELUS Digital and Zendesk have recently partnered closely in an effort to deepen our CX capabilities and digital footprint. For more information, check out our press release. 

This partnership unlocks a lot of potential for our firm that our Senior Business Development Executive at TELUS Digital Solutions will use to lead revenue growth and client engagement efforts within the Zendesk ecosystem. This role is responsible for building and driving pipeline development and expanding market share through innovative sales strategies and exceptional relationship management for the implementation services we provide at TELUS Digital. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies to exceed revenue targets and KPIs
  • Own the full sales cycle—from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market presence and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Foster strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term account growth
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, leveraging data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing, business development, and product teams to streamline sales operations and enhance go-to-market strategies

Competencies

  • 7+ years of experience in a sales leadership role within the SaaS or customer service technology space with direct experience working with Zendesk products and solutions
  • Deep understanding of CRM platforms and modern sales technologies
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Expertise in pipeline management, lead generation, and strategic account planning
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to create actionable performance insights

Bonus Competencies

  • Background in customer service or support software sales
  • Demonstrated success in managing and scaling high-performing sales teams
  • Proficiency in forecasting, territory planning, and strategic sales execution

Annual Performance Bonus

This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus based on personal, division/business unit, and company performance. The range displayed is only the annual base salary. To maintain equity across the business, annual performance bonus targets are determined by job level, not individual circumstances.

Individual base salaries are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons determined during the interview process. Salary bands are periodically reviewed and updated based on market changes, internal needs, and industry trends. To maintain pay equity for team members, TELUS Digital conducts regular compensation audits.

Annual Base Salary Range (Commission Eligible)

$132,000$165,000 CAD
