Additionally, Age of Learning is embarking on a major brand refresh, and this role will contribute to establishing and refining the new brand identity across various digital and marketing experiences. The Senior Experience Designer will play a key role in ensuring that the refreshed branding is seamlessly integrated across user journeys, marketing materials, and digital experiences.

  • Design beautiful and scalable UI assets and vector icons to work across multiple platforms.
  • Create and manage the marketing creative UI toolkit and patterns.
  • Conduct user research, observe and learn from user behavior, and utilize behavioral data to generate practical insights.
  • Understand and incorporate the needs and preferences of our audience into the development of the user experience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audience,
  • and brand guidelines.
  • Act as the UX expert and advisor to the rest of the team/department on those principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders and incorporate stakeholder feedback and revisions to refine designs.
  • Understand technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related area required. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in the app development industry specializing in UX/UI.
  • Expertise in Adobe range of products including XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
  • Very experienced with prototyping design software (Figma, Sketch, or similar tools) and the prototype development process.
  • Extensive experience in using UI/UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
  • Ability to create complex interactive prototypes to express interactive design ideas based upon user and stakeholder input and feedback.
  • Proven ability to adapt and adhere to an established visual style and build upon it.
  • Experience designing cohesive customer journeys across multiple touchpoints, including targeted marketing campaigns, landing pages, and activation flows.
  • Experience contributing to large-scale brand refresh initiatives and ensuring consistency in brand identity across multiple platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
