About this roll* (Responsibilities)

The Gift Cards team is responsible for advancing and growing Toast’s Gift Cards business.  The team’s mission is to enable restaurants to drive sales growth and maximize customer engagement from gift cards programs. The team supports the Toast first-party Gift Cards product as well as integrations for third-party gift card products that Toast point-of-sale customers use. This group is highly product oriented, with a laser-focus on creating top tier consumer experiences for restaurants and their guests.  We operate like a small startup with high ambitions and a focus on speed, experimentation, and iteration.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for our Gift Cards product who has an obsession for deeply understanding user needs, creating world-class products, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.  You love solving complex problems and embrace an iterative mindset. You are grounded in customer feedback, cross-functional partnership, and an ability to translate customer needs and product vision into world-class experiences. And last, but not least, you understand that what makes a team successful is its people, and want to foster an environment where we can all perform at our best.

This roll is an incredible opportunity for a product manager who wants to build upon a strong foundation for one of Toast’s most adopted products and identify and execute growth opportunities while working alongside a highly collaborative and talented team.  Responsibilities include:

  • Drive and prioritize the roadmap to achieve the vision for Toast’s Gift Cards business whose mission is to enable restaurants to drive sales growth and maximize customer engagement from gift cards programs.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the broader gift cards space that provide solutions for Toast customers
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs across the different segments of Toast’s business via a variety of sources including customer interviews / calls, customer / prospect feedback, input from customer-facing teams, data analytics, and competitive intelligence
  • Develop product requirements for product features and enhancements
  • Work closely with designers and engineers to concept and implement projects that improve the product
  • Total commitment to being a great teammate

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a strong track record of building high-growth digital products
  • Proven ownership of leading a product while ensuring the product supports the company strategy and meets defined business objectives.
  • Can think and act creatively, strategically, and tactically
  • Able to flourish and self-prioritize across multiple projects in fast-paced, collaborative work environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • A proven track record of working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, mindset and work ethic are a must
  • Actively follow latest product management best practices and trends
  • Exceptional attention to detail

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.

Pay Range

$126,000$202,000 USD
