We are currently looking to add a Senior Product Manager to lead our Core Product and User Experience group. You will fully own the core search and booking user experience at Wanderu. As the biggest advocate for our end users, you will passionately lead and organize a cross-functional team and create a product vision from data analysis and user qualitative data. You will be the best expert of our product, always learning about its strengths and weaknesses. You will inspire your team to buy into the product vision and translate it to a series of tests and go-to-market plans to prove it out. You will be as comfortable talking to end users as you are working with designers and engineers.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years of experience leading consumer facing products at large scale marketplaces or e-commerce companies.
  • At least 6 years of product management experience planning and executing in a fast paced, cross-functional environment
  • At least 6 years of product management experience in a consumer environment (ecommerce, B2C) building applications for end users
  • Strong end-user advocate, recent experience leading user interviews, user testing, A/B testing and data-driven decision making
  • Proven experience in researching market trends and competition, as well as internal planning and scoping to create a business case and spec for needle-moving projects and features
  • Experience developing a product vision, strategy and product backlog based on research, data, and industry trends for a B2C product
  • Significant experience bridging product vision to engineers, understanding systems and generally tech-savvy
  • Strong people leader who enjoys inspiring each member of their cross-functional team with the right approach. They get buy in for your product vision and drive rapid discovery and delivery.
  • Understand the nuances of product development for native applications
  • Evangelize best practices of product development and project management to improve the company-wide ability to create and ship business changing ideas
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Amplitude, SQL, as well as prototyping and user testing tools.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in the consumer travel industry or large marketplace businesses.
  • Experience leading remote teams.
