What is a Solution Engineer?

The Solution Engineer (Sales Engineer/Solution Consultant) is responsible for presenting product offerings in a value-driven way to prospects and customers, with the end goal is to instill confidence in the technology and to remove all technical objections in the pre-sales efforts. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

Litify is hiring for an experienced candidate, intermediate or advanced skills, for its Enterprise Litigation Management (ELM) Unit.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the sales team in their campaigns by helping identify, quantify, and capture Litify’s value proposition and best solution that solves the customer’s challenges
  • Build and demonstrate the Litify platform that align with the customer’s needs
  • Conduct discovery sessions to potential Litify clients alongside our sales team
  • Directly engage internal and external stakeholders in client-facing environments via demos and presentations
  • Configure Salesforce for custom demonstrations to showcase specific capabilities and enhancing standard demos for use by internal team members
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
  • Answer RFPs effectively
  • Ability to travel domestically (1-2x per month)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Experience
    • Experience selling Salesforce solutions or implementing Salesforce
    • Proficient in building Salesforce Flows
  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Database and/or SQL Experience
  • Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology
  • Solid oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a legal department or with legal departments
  • Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM company, legal technology, or enterprise litigation management company
  • Salesforce Certifications

Disclosure:

The estimated base salary pay range for this role is $125,000-$145,000. You will also be offered a commission and benefits.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide. 

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
