Your role at Dynatrace

Lead a 20+ person engineering organization building custom tools, automation, and platforms that help post‑sales teams drive customer adoption and consumption of Dynatrace. You will modernize how we build and operate software by embedding AI into engineering workflows—accelerating coding, testing, CI/CD, incident response, and change management—while improving quality, reliability, and developer productivity at scale.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with business operations teams to define strategy and own engineering roadmaps
  • Deliver world‑class customer and employee applications through scalable, secure, well‑instrumented services and tooling
  • Build and operate internal platforms that connect development and operations systems (source control, CI/CD, observability, ticketing) into repeatable, measurable workflows
  • Drive 100% adoption of AI‑assisted development, including evaluation/guardrails, telemetry, cost controls, reliability targets (SLOs), and lifecycle management
  • Lead, coach, and grow engineering managers and technical leaders; drive execution, prioritization, and cross‑functional alignment

Required Qualifications

  • Senior engineering leadership experience (Director/Sr. Director), including managing multiple teams and platform investments
  • Deep understanding of observability and telemetry
  • Demonstrated impact improving developer productivity with AI, including DevOps and release engineering capabilities at scale
  • Strong fundamentals in modern SDLC, cloud‑native systems, automation/orchestration, and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, and/or Datadog

Compensation and Rewards

DOE, salary $275K - $290K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
