We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, SEO Strategy. This person will be responsible for developing SEO strategies that increase traffic and improve ranking for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental, Individual, Family and Small Business. Our ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of SEO best practices and has experience working with strategy, analytics, engineering, product, and MarTech teams. Reporting to the Director of Paid and Organic Search, this person will have a pulse of industry trends and deep experience building strategies that maximize web traffic and increase consumer acquisition and engagement.

The Senior Marketing Manager, SEO can be based anywhere in the US.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies for all eHealth products and audiences to achieve performance goals and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain annual and quarterly SEO strategic roadmap and corresponding forecasts.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by sharing the latest industry trends and translating them to actionable strategies.
  • Analyze, track, forecast and report on SEO performance trends and key initiatives
  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-priority keywords and content relevant to our audiences
  • Oversee technical SEO initiatives, including website audits and troubleshooting technical issues that may impact search engine visibility.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering and marketing to ensure SEO best practices are implemented
  • Develop article briefs and partner with writers to create and implement content.
  • Ensure content and channel executions are compliant.
  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions. 

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience with SEO strategy and execution, with a proven track record of success in driving growth.
  • An in-depth understanding of the search engine ranking process as well as basic knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and web standards
  • Strong analytical acumen with experience in tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Conductor, etc…
  • Experience with website management platforms (e.g., WordPress) with the ability to make updates and enhancements to website content and structure.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross functional partners at all levels and ability to clearly communicating technical messages to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organization and project management, with ability to set clear priorities.
  • Experience and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment, operating at a fast pace and fluid nature to adapt the changing needs of the consumer, the regulatory environment, and the business.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable giving presentations and reporting data analysis to different audiences, including executive leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
