The Engineering Delivery Team is responsible for execution of engineering activities to validate and enable manufacturing and producibility. The execution of these projects has significant impact to customer and business goals both in the short-term and long-term. Role requires a dedicated and dynamic engineer to execute the delivery of structural castings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for task prioritization, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining effective communication with senior leadership. This role is critical in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within our manufacturing processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of producibility changes through creation of standard work. You will apply engineering concepts to design, drafting and manufacturing issues. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to substantiate and document changes. You will engage with colleagues and partners in manufacturing sites to refine engineering solutions. You will manage projects related to the modernization of engineering requirements to streamline supplier communication and collaboration.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products
  • Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
