Responsibilities

  • Be a Venture's "CTO", using your technology expertise to unravel system requirements and propose specifications that will be carried out for the delivery of actionable systems, with all application aspects considered, from PCB-level hardware to insights and actions, including circuit design, mechanical design, component interfaces, firmware, algorithm, control, and cloud software
  • Could serve as the Project Champion for a suitable venture.
  • Collaborate with other architects on application aspects that align with your specific technical expertise.
  • Deliver designs and prototypes for critical components of the application.
  • Translate user stories and feature requirements into specifications and designs for the implementation team.
  • Act as the product owner for the implementation team and ensure the work is implemented according to the specifications.
  • Identify component patterns that may be reused in future applications and abstract them accordingly.
  • Mentor Garage staff rotating with the group.

Requirements

  • A wide range of technical knowledge from hardware to cloud software with demonstrated deep expertise in at least one technical discipline.
  • Basic business acumen
  • Master's degree or higher
  • 10+ years experience
