University Relations Partner

About the role:
Join Takeda's University Relations Team where you'll contribute to the development and execution of the overall campus recruitment & hiring strategy. In this role, you will be part of our Global Talent Acquisition community. As a University Relations Partner, you'll manage the annual cycle of summer intern recruitment as well as support the U.S. Summer Internship Program design and implementation.
How you will contribute:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for summer interns, including resume review, screening candidates, interviewing, and extending offers
  • Attend career fairs and campus events to promote Takeda and attract top talent
  • Develop and maintain relationships with target universities and external partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs across various business units and corporate functions
  • Implement innovative strategies to identify and engage high-potential candidates for undergraduate, graduate, and PhD level internships
  • Support summer interns and hiring managers throughout the hiring, onboarding, and offboarding process
  • Support the planning, organizing, and execution of summer intern events and workshops


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of campus or university recruiting experience or Talent Acquisition experience preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Experience managing internal stakeholders and varying job profiles
  • Strong internal client management and customer consultative skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred experience using Workday, Handshake, and Avature

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$96,600.00 - $151,800.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
