Job Description:
The Opportunity:
As the Vice President of Business Analytics, you will be responsible for defining and managing the analytical vision, strategy, and outcomes for the team as well as partnering across the full organization to drive towards strategic company & department-level goals.
You will lead the charge in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the company. You will partner with leaders from Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and E-commerce to understand their goals and data needs to shape the experimentation, dashboarding, and predictive analytics roadmaps. This role is pivotal in shaping our data strategy, building data sets, and evangelizing the adoption of centralized data products across the company. You will need to be able to get in the weeds to solve complex issues as well as lead company-wide understanding and execution of our strategy at all levels of the organization.
**This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week onsite in our Framingham, MA HQ office**
Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy Leadership: Spearhead the development and implementation of a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals. Identify opportunities to leverage data for strategic advantage and drive business growth.


  • Data Integration and Modeling: Oversee the modeling of data from disparate sources across the organization, including Oracle, Salesforce, Heap, and others, into a centralized analytics platform. Lead efforts to model raw data, extract meaningful insights, and translate them into actionable recommendations.


  • Product Integration: Collaborate with product teams to embed data-driven insights into our products and services. Ensure that analytics capabilities are seamlessly integrated into our offerings, enhancing value for both internal and external stakeholders.


  • Dashboard Development: Drive the creation of intuitive dashboards and reporting tools that empower internal users to make informed decisions and enhance customer interactions. Streamline data access and visualization to improve operational efficiency.


  • Data Evangelism: Champion the importance of centralized data products across the organization. Influence leaders at all levels to embrace data-driven decision-making and instill a culture of trust and reliance on data-driven insights.


  • • Problem Solving: Actively engage in both strategic planning and detailed, hands-on problem-solving. Be agile in addressing issues that impact the effectiveness of the analytics function.


  • • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other executive leaders to integrate analytics into all facets of the business.


  • • Training and Development: Foster a data-first culture within the company by leading educational initiatives and training programs that enhance data comprehension and utilization across the organization.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Seasoned veteran with a proven track record in business analytics and data management. Demonstrated experience in building and scaling data analytics capabilities within a dynamic organization.


  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data modeling, analysis, and visualization tools. Hands-on experience with data platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, Heap and many others.


  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to influence and inspire teams across the organization. Proven experience in driving change and building consensus among stakeholders.


  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into data-driven solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging data to drive innovation and business growth.


  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable evangelizing the value of data analytics and fostering a data-driven culture.
