Position Description

Eleanor Health is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive B2B partnership strategy. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role will focus on building and scaling relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, behavioral health digital platforms, hospital systems, government departments, and other relevant organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare business development, a passion for behavioral health - particularly substance use disorder (SUD) treatment - and a proven track record of securing and growing high-impact partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for establishing and expanding B2B partnerships, aligning with Eleanor Health’s mission and growth objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify, engage, and negotiate agreements with potential partners to enhance access to care and drive membership growth.
  • Revenue Growth: Own and achieve revenue targets for the B2B channel by leveraging strategic partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Market Positioning: Conduct market research and collaborate with marketing, product, and clinical teams to align messaging, tailor offerings, and differentiate Eleanor Health’s solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Eleanor Health at industry events, conferences, and media engagements to position the company as a leader in employer-driven mental health solutions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and performance metrics to track partnership success, optimize strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership & Membership Growth: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration to exceed membership growth targets and enhance payer and provider collaborations.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or sales, with a strong focus on providers and healthcare solutions.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare facilities, hospital systems, and decision-making processes, along with knowledge of the evolving landscape of behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.
  • Proven track record of securing and scaling high-impact partnerships that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for behavioral health—preferably SUD—and a commitment to driving meaningful impact through B2B partnerships.

Compensation & Benefits:

The target annual compensation range for this position depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
