Creative Specialist
Boston, MA / Hybrid - Boston Seaport
The Position
We're looking for a talented creative specialist who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, this individual should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Collaborating, brainstorming, and strategizing with multiple teams on a wide range of materials that may include presentations, collateral, signage, internal/external communications, newsletters, videos, and related marketing materials.
- Translating strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
- Engaging with our external design agency to balance workloads across available resources.
- Developing concepts and executing original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Researching and turning content ideas into videos, images, infographics in order to link Nasuni to its target audience and the key campaign themes.
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which likely will include simultaneous projects.
- Examining the existing processes, identifying flaws, and creating solutions that improve design capabilities.
Required skills + experience we look for are …
- 3+ years’ experience in a creative specialist role, within the tech industry
- Variety of skill sets across graphic and video related areas – please expect to provide a portfolio of your work
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
- Experience with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional relationship building skills in a cross-functional, highly matrixed global environment
- Flexible and team player mentality
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work out of the Nasuni Seaport office 3 days/week
